studexa1. Accepting these terms
By creating an account or using Studexa, you agree to these Terms & Conditions and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. The service
Studexa provides tools for organising notes, generating study packs, practising flashcards and quizzes, reviewing mistakes, planning exams, tracking study activity and interacting with an AI tutor. Features and limits may change as the product develops.
3. Accounts
Studexa assigns an account/student ID to help identify the correct user for account support, billing and refund requests. You can copy it from Settings. You must provide accurate account information, keep your credentials secure and tell us if you suspect unauthorised use. You are responsible for activity under your account. You may not misuse another person’s account or attempt to bypass access controls.
4. Your content
You keep ownership of notes and other content you submit. You give Studexa permission to host, process and transmit that content only as needed to provide, secure and improve the requested service. You must have the right to submit the content and must not upload unlawful, infringing or harmful material.
5. AI and educational limitations
AI features generate and explain educational content, including study-pack material and Tutor responses, from material you submit or explicitly select. They do not determine your Readiness Score, quiz percentage, progress, mistakes, Exam Rescue calculations, XP, streaks or achievements; those features use ordinary fixed rules.
The AI Tutor provides optional educational suggestions and does not determine ability, predict grades or exam outcomes, or decide whether a student is academically ready. Generated study material and tutor responses may contain errors, omissions or outdated information. Studexa is a study aid, not a replacement for teachers, official course material, professional advice or independent judgment. Check important answers against reliable sources.
6. Plans, renewals and PayPal
Plus and Pro are recurring subscriptions billed monthly or annually in the USD amount shown at checkout. They renew automatically at the selected billing frequency until cancelled. You approve recurring subscriptions through PayPal Checkout. PayPal processes payments under its applicable terms. Studexa does not receive or store your full card number, PayPal password or card security code.
Paid access begins only after PayPal confirms a completed initial payment or an active PayPal subscription. Pending, approved-but-incomplete, failed or abandoned checkouts do not unlock paid limits. By approving PayPal Checkout, you authorise the displayed initial charge and recurring charges at the selected monthly or annual interval until cancellation.
You can cancel future PayPal renewals from Studexa billing. After a cancellation confirmation email is issued, the next recurring charge is stopped while your current paid plan and its features normally remain available until the stated access-ending time. To prevent duplicate subscriptions or overlapping charges, you cannot start another paid subscription while that paid-access period remains active. Once the period has ended and your account has returned to the Free plan, you may subscribe again through Studexa billing. This is subject to applicable law and PayPal status. Additional AI-message packs are charged once and do not renew automatically. Refund eligibility is explained in our Refund Policy.
7. Acceptable use
Do not disrupt the service, probe for vulnerabilities, automate abusive traffic, evade plan limits, introduce malware, scrape other users’ information, reverse engineer protected systems or use Studexa to violate law or another person’s rights.
8. Availability and security
We use reasonable safeguards to protect Studexa data and work to keep the service available, but no online service is completely secure or uninterrupted. Maintenance, provider outages and events outside our control may affect access.
9. Suspension and termination
Access may be limited or suspended where reasonably necessary to protect users, enforce these terms, respond to non-payment or comply with law. You may stop using the service at any time; cancelling a subscription and deleting an account are separate actions.
10. Liability and changes
To the extent permitted by law, Studexa is provided on an “as available” basis and is not responsible for academic results or decisions made solely from generated content. Rights that cannot legally be excluded remain unaffected. We may update these terms with a revised effective date; continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
